You may have noticed a new look when you clicked on the blog. I have changed the “theme” to a new one for a few technical reasons. I think this is a little easier to read, but if not, let me know. The links should be more visible now. The font is a little larger.
But the main reason I changed it was that my old theme did not have a feature I wanted—the ability to select a particular image to use as the thumbnail when I post the link to another site such as Facebook. I am hoping this will now work. This one is a test so I am inserting some random images and then selecting one to be the
“featured” image so I can see if it works when I post the link to the blog.
Please let me know what you think of the new look.
Love it Amy!

Thanks! I am still fooling with it, and I hate change, but I think I like it also!

Looks really nice. Now I can’t wait to hear if the featured image worked when sharing.

I ran a test post on my own page on FB to see, and it did! I deleted it since it’s not really a blog post I need to put on Facebook, but it did give me a chance to see if the Featured Image worked. Next post will be the REAL test. 🙂 Thanks again for your help.

I think this style is more portrait than landscape? It looks quite zippy in a way, although I also hate change.

I am not sure I know what you mean—is that a bad thing or a good thing!?

I love it Amy. How’s by you and Harvey? We’re well, busy as always but particularly Ben with Bar Mitzvah study, regular study and two baseball teams he is playing for. Look forward to seeing you this summer

I think it’s gorgeous! I love nature themes. Bright and cheery. My trouble is I keep finding themes I like better than the last, so I change. 😉 Need to stop looking.

Thanks, Karen! Funny thing is I never picked the original theme. A cousin helped me set up the blog, and she picked it. I never once thought about changing it! Too scared. But now I am glad that I did. After almost THREE years!!

I like it! I use blogger and I always wonder how/why facebook either picks the photo it thinks I should use or gives me a few options, but never all of them.

Thanks, Debi! So blogger does the same thing? It was driving me crazy!

I’m not sure if it is a blogger or Facebook thing. I typically just copy the link and paste it into Facebook but it never seems consistent as to which, or how many, pictures it offers me.

I changed themes to be able to control that. So far it has worked, but it does crop the photo strangely. This one was okay, but I will have to see how it works.
